The Fifth Sunday in Lent - Year B

The falling of seed to earth, of death leading to life, of letting go leading to a something greater -- all of this and more is encapsulated in a few brief verses in John’s telling of the Gospel where Jesus’ followers are puzzled by the arrival of outsiders wishing to see Jesus. Jesus responds to the unexpected by pointing to a God who is preparing to write the future anew in our hearts.
