Connected

Seventeenth Sunday after Pentecost
September 24th, 2023

by The Rev. Cn. Lizette Larson-Miller

Like the grumbling workers who arrived to work on time, or like the grumbling prophet who wanted God to punish, not redeem, the people of Nineveh, sometimes we too resent God's generosity. Today's readings invite us to notice God's grace toward all of creation, where fish and plants hear God's gracious call and respond with gratitude and where we can too.
