As you may know, I’m away on vacation this week and next, but count on the capable company of Muneera Mansuri and Gerry Caprio to care for our church’s administrative and pastoral needs. We’re also grateful to welcome Bishop Brian Richard Seage as our supply clergy this coming Sunday. He’ll be coming to us from faraway Belvedere, CA (he’s married to St. Stephen’s Rector Kyle Dice Seage), so please make him welcome!
And being the welcoming community that I know you to be, let me invite you to “greeting card bomb” the Helmer family’s new home in Novato. Please bring (or drop off) a housewarming card for the family on or before Sunday, 6/14 (the date of our new “patio picnic”). If you wanted to give them a personal gift and didn’t get to (be assured the vestry gave them a generous severance package), this is your chance to tuck a check or gift card into the envelope. But a card and good wishes are plenty! Your COS Cares team will make sure the cards get to Brother Richard Edward and his family.
