The Juneteenth Feast Day was celebrated this year for the first time across the Diocese of California: In remembering Juneteenth we undertake the spiritual challenge of Amos and Jesus both to remember where we are called to love and serve true justice and freedom for all people, and never to forget the humility around where we have failed.
