When Death means Nothing at All

At first glance, Jesus' debate with the Sadducees seems academic -- even laughable. But the message he sends them and us is about a God who is profoundly different from the god we so often co-opt into our systems of control and violence. Ours is the God of the living, the God to whom death is nothing at all.
